Train at the level that suits you
Build sound basics
The basic class gives you time to learn posture, structure and movement cleanly.
Broaden your practice
Mixed sessions let you revisit core skills while training in a wider class setting.
Refine advanced detail
Higher-level sessions focus on timing, application and small technical corrections.
Adult training with clear levels
Adult training does not need to start with trying to keep up. Our adult Wing Chun programme is split into basic, mixed and advanced classes, so you can begin at the right stage and build from there. The basic class gives you time to learn posture, stance, structure, footwork and hand techniques without feeling rushed. Mixed sessions let you revisit core material in a broader training setting. If you have more experience, advanced classes give you room to sharpen application, timing and technical detail.

Practical skill with long-term value
We keep the work practical and sustainable. Sessions at Wing Chun combine self-defence skill with mobility, coordination and long-term fitness, so you are not just repeating movements for the sake of it. We use controlled partner drills to develop distance, reactions and composure, and we keep correcting the small points that make technique work. Training with Wing Chun can progress as steadily as you need, with clear class times and a pathway that keeps each level distinct.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need experience to join adult Wing Chun?
No. Many adults start with no previous martial arts experience. The basic class is there to build posture, balance, footwork and early drills in a clear order, so you can learn the system properly before moving into broader or more advanced work.
What is the difference between basic, mixed and advanced?
Basic classes build your core habits and understanding. Mixed sessions give you a wider training setting to revisit skills and connect them more freely. Advanced classes are for students with a stronger base who want more demanding application, timing and technical correction.
Can adult Wing Chun help fitness as well as self-defence?
Yes. The classes are skill-led, but repeated stance work, footwork, partner drills and controlled movement also support mobility, coordination and sustainable long-term fitness. The benefit comes through regular practice rather than pushing for speed or exhaustion.
